The promise
Year 2 will not be 3x year 1.
And here is the part most hosts don't put in writing: what we commit to, what we don't, and the one escape hatch we keep — with you protected.
What we promise
- No promotional-price-expiry trick. Your renewal price equals what you paid at signup. Not 2x. Not 3x. The exact same number on the next invoice.
- At most one price review per 24 months. And only if upstream costs (datacenter, payment processing, INR-USD swings) make it genuinely necessary.
- Capped at India's CPI inflation rate. If we ever review, the change is bounded by published CPI (currently around 5%). No "we felt like raising it 30%."
- 90 days written notice, plus a free exit. If we invoke a review and you don't like it, we hand you a clean export and migrate you to a competitor for free. No fee, no friction, no questions.
Why we keep the escape hatch
60% of our infrastructure costs are USD-denominated: Hetzner, Cloudflare, Zoho, domain registrar, off-site backups. INR has weakened roughly 7% against USD in the last six months alone. A hoster that promises "price will never change for any reason" is either lying or going out of business within three years.
We'd rather be honest about the one knob we reserve, cap it at CPI, and guarantee a clean exit if we ever pull it. Hostinger's 3x renewal trick is still the actual problem in the Indian market. We're not doing that.
In plain language
- – Existing customers always grandfathered.
- – No silent bill changes, ever.
- – No "intro price expires" trap.
- – If we ever raise renewals, you get notice, a cap, and a free exit.
